Survey on prefabricated house companies: Hanse Haus is again the fairest prefabricated house provider
For the 11th time Hanse Haus was awarded the top rating of "very good" in all categories in the major FOCUS-MONEY customer survey "Fairness among German prefabricated house providers" in 2023.
As part of the survey, around 2,000 homeowners from various prefabricated house companies were asked to provide information on six different service and performance features of their prefabricated house construction partner and to rate them.

Awards for prefabricated house quality and reliability
Grand Prix of the middle class
In 2023, Hanse Haus once again achieved the highest honour of the Oskar Patzelt Foundation at national level in the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes".
Hanse Haus was already honoured as a "finalist" in 2015 and as a "prize winner" at state level in 2016. In 2018, we were honoured as a "Premier Finalist" and in 2019 as a "Premier" at national level.
We continued to confirm our entrepreneurial achievements and were delighted to receive the Premier badge of honour in 2023. Only two other companies were awarded this honour in 2023.
German Sustainable Building Council
The mission of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) is to develop and promote ways and solutions for sustainable building. From the "almost finished" stage, all Hanse houses including the Hanse Haus floor slab or Hanse Haus basement receive the DGNB certificate in gold.
CrefoZert
In 2023, the renowned credit agency Creditreform has once again awarded Hanse Haus with the CrefoZert certificate. This means that we are one of the 2 per cent of German companies that are certified as having an exceptionally good credit rating, healthy business practices and a good forecast for future business performance.
Highest customer satisfaction
How do customers rate product and service providers?
FOCUS MONEY surveyed homeowners on the subject of customer satisfaction. In the prefabricated house sector, Hanse Haus was awarded "Highest Customer Satisfaction".
QNG certification guaranteed
In August 2022, we were the first prefabricated house provider to receive two "Building Certificates PLUS" from the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building via DGNB for our new show homes in Langenhagen and Kappel-Grafenhausen.
This type of seal attests to the particularly sustainable construction of new residential buildings with up to five residential units.
BDF und QDF
As a full member of the Bundesverband Deutscher Fertigbau (BDF), Hanse Haus is also a member of the QDF, the Qualitätsgemeinschaft Deutscher Fertigbau.
The seal of this quality association is the most comprehensive seal of quality in German prefabricated house construction. It places the highest demands on energy efficiency and environmental protection. In addition, it commits to the highest technical standards and contractual principles that go far beyond the legal requirements.
RAL quality mark
The RAL quality mark guarantees regular monitoring of our production and installation with regard to structural criteria.
CE labelling
Hanse Haus is one of the first prefabricated house manufacturers to receive European approval from the German Institute for Building Technology.
ISO 9001 Quality management
Hanse Haus is committed to annual monitoring by independent experts from TÜV Rheinland. This standard is also certified: ISO 9001 Quality Management
The aim is to improve processes, optimise workflows and increase efficiency.
Price champion
In 2024, Hanse Haus was once again named Price Champion by ServiceValue and DIE WELT. This is the sith time in a row that Hanse Haus has taken first place in the prefabricated house supplier sector!
The silver award shows that Hanse Haus is one of the 900 companies out of a total of 3,726 analysed that particularly impress with their pricing.
Awards for the environment and responsibility in prefabricated house construction
Environmental awareness and health are important to us. That's why we only use wood from certified suppliers for our prefabricated timber houses and check that the materials we use meet the high testing standards for your health.
Timber from PEFC-certified suppliers
We use wood from PEFC-certified suppliers for our Hanse Haus prefabricated houses. This certification guarantees responsible and sustainable use of the forest as a living and recreational space.
Sustainable small housing construction
The German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety presented the assessment system for sustainable small residential buildings (BNK).
The system assesses the sustainability of residential buildings in order to increase transparency for homeowners.
ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Hanse Haus is committed to annual monitoring by independent experts from TÜV Rheinland. The following standards are certified:
- ISO 14001 Environmental management: The aim is to avoid negative environmental impacts. Examples of this include avoiding waste and increasing the recycling rate or the use of sustainable raw materials.
- ISO 45001 Occupational health and safety management: The promotion of employee health protection and the prevention of accidents at work through modern work processes in in-house production and assembly.
Bavarian Environmental & Climate Pact
In recognition of the high level of corporate environmental protection and responsible use of resources, Hanse Haus was awarded the certificate of the Bavarian Environmental Pact.
Blue Angel
The mineral wool insulation we use has been awarded with the Blue Angel "low-emission" eco-label. It is produced with low levels of harmful substances and is harmless to health.
Sustainability champion
ServiceValue and DIE WELT have been compiling a ranking of companies' sustainability since 2022. Hanse Haus has been awarded the title of "Sustainability Champion" with the rating "particularly sustainable" every year ever since.
Prefabricated house awards for energy and the future
We think about the future. That's why we build our prefabricated houses in accordance with current energy efficiency standards. We also realise passive houses and energy-plus houses for added energy efficiency.
KfW efficiency houses
Hanse Haus builds KfW Efficiency Houses with BEG 40 Plus, 40 EE and 55 EE subsidies in accordance with the specifications of the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW). As the homeowner of your Hanse houses, you are entitled to low-interest loans and a repayment subsidy.
Information Association Passive House Germany
As a member of the Informations-Gemeinschaft Passivhaus Deutschland, Hanse Haus supports the promotion and dissemination of the passive house concept and has its passive houses certified by the Passivhaus Institut Darmstadt on request.
Minergie® member
In Switzerland, Hanse Haus realises houses to Minergie® standard on request. Minimising energy consumption, using alternative energies and improving the quality of life are at the forefront.
